Yet 99% of Americans Don't Even Own a Single One…
Considered by experts as one of the most important items in natural disasters, medical emergencies, self-defense situations, and every day life.
MUST READ OPENING DISCLAIMER
We launched this company (Mountain Man Medical) in February 2020 right before the COVID lockdowns.
As the country plummeted into chaos with riots and civil unrest it was all we could do to keep this product in stock.
Since then our company has grown to supply many local law enforcement agencies, some federal agencies, and not to mention the massive demand for this product from every day Americans like you.
However war and conflict from Ukraine to Israel has decimated quality medical gear supply with most of the top DOD suppliers doubling their capacity and still selling it all to International 3rd parties.
All this to say that we are fighting to keep this product in stock and there could be a slight delay to ship your order if you choose to buy from us today.
Dear Responsible American,
After serving several tours in the Global War on Terror as a combat medic, I came home to discover something very shocking.
You see, I imagine if you are reading this that you are probably not that different from me.
You are probably the kind of person who wants to be prepared for anything and sees yourself as a responsible guardian who would do anything to protect yourself and your loved ones in an emergency.
Well, the shocking reality that hit me when I came home is that the number #1 most obvious piece of gear that is part of every emergency response plan is neglected by over 95% of Americans.
Yep, even those who consider themselves preppers and work hard to be prepared for floods, hurricanes, active shooters, power grid failures, civil unrest, and even zombies all still tend to neglect what could be argued is the most valuable thing…
Not just the most valuable thing in those kind of extreme scenarios but arguably the most important thing you could own to actually save a life in the most common every day situations we face.
I'm talking about a Trauma Kit.
I Did NOT Say “First Aid Kit”
You probably have a dozen first aid kits…
A first aid kit is full of band aids and neosporin and frankly it doesn't matter much if yours is made by the top American operation or some place in Asia. A band aid is a band aid and that isn't what I'm talking about anyway.
I'm talking about a Trauma Kit.
First Aid Kits are for boo-boos. A Trauma Kit is for major medical trauma and massive bleeding.
And the reality that most American homes don't have one is only one of my major concerns, but I'll talk about the other issue later.
What Is A Trauma Kit?
I was introduced to trauma and emergency medicine by my career firefighter dad even before I joined the military and became a combat medic.
A Trauma Kit contains gear to stop massive bleeding and keep someone alive until EMS can arrive or the injuried party can otherwise reach a higher level of professional care.
We are talking about situations where 9-1-1 should be called but you can't afford to do nothing and watch someone die while you wait.
“59% OF DEATHS FROM INJURY MAY HAVE BEEN PREVENTED IF FIRST AID WAS GIVEN BEFORE THE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES ARRIVED.” – RED CROSS
Now before I describe what should actually be in a Trauma Kit I want to give you a warning.
You see, the other shocking discovery that I made when I started to shop for a trauma kit after getting home from my deployments was the absolutely HORRIBLE quality of the vast majority of kits out there for sale.
I'll give you greater details in a minute but first let me describe what should go into a trauma kit.
A trauma kit should at the very least have the 4 following items. These are the components that anyone who knows anything consider to be CRITICAL:
Of course there are other things that can go into a trauma kit to help with any number of medical emergencies but those are the 4 critical items.
The sad thing is that in my current job, I travel all around the country visiting expos, training events, conferences, shooting sports competitions, and survival classes where people show me their “trauma kit” and ask for my opinion. Sorry to say that most of them SUCK.
With that in mind however, let me expose the 3 biggest flaws I see in the 98% of “trauma kits” that people currently have and buy.
The #1 Flaw Of Trauma Kits
JUNK!
The first and most common issue I have with most of the “Amazon” trauma kits is that they are filled with cheap Asian made knockoffs of quality gear.
Yep, imitation tourniquets and pressure bandages in packaging with questionable English.
Don't get me wrong, this isn't a political jab. I'm a medic, not a statesman. I don't care where your stuff is made but I do know the difference between junk and quality.
In fact a few decades ago the US Department of Defense was seeing massive casualties in war and convened a civil think tank of doctors and experts to test gear and techniques and make recommendations to the military. This think tank is the “Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care” or CoTCCC for short.
As a combat medic it is my job to keep tabs on those recommendations and I can tell you I've see far more tourniquets and chest seals fail their tests than pass them.
In fact we've seen a number of headlines out of Ukraine about soldiers dying because their army has cut corners and supplied the troops with Chinese knockoff tourniquets.
“Their problem is that when a soldier is wounded, he is 100% dead with poor-quality tourniquets. 95% of our soldiers will die if they get wounded. They have some sh*t in their first aid kits that cannot stop the bleeding,” – Yarolslav Vus – Head of Ukranian Union of Paramedics
The #2 Flaw Of Trauma Kits
NO REAL TRAUMA GEAR!
Last year I was at a very big gun range observing a USPSA state shooting championship match. Each pistol bay had its own Trauma Kit (which is actually impressive for a gun range).
The problem? I opened them up and found that these “trauma kits” were at best large first aid kits with a tourniquet in them.
You see the companies who make these know they can sell them for more money if they puff up the “item count” and the overall size of the bag or container.
They do that by including q-tips, 10 different types of band aid (I'm supposed to say adhesive bandage instead of band-aid), absorbent pads, tylenol, and other things that are not needed in major trauma emergencies.
Don't get fooled into buying one of these supposed trauma kits which is actually just a slightly upgraded and overpriced first aid kit.
The #3 Flaw Of Trauma Kits
Most People Don’t Know How to Use It…
Even if you do have a proper trauma kit with you, with the highest quality gear available, there’s another glaring issue:
Most people don’t know how to use it.
Owning a trauma kit is only half the battle.
Without the right training, it’s just a bag of unfamiliar tools. When seconds matter, fumbling through a kit and second-guessing what to do can mean the difference between life and death.
A true trauma kit must be portable, practical, and paired with the training to use it effectively.
For example, what if you’re at the scene of a car accident, and someone is bleeding heavily — can you stop the bleeding fast enough to save their life?
What if a loved one sustains a serious chest wound at the range, or worse an active shooter situation — do you know how to seal it properly before paramedics arrive?
Or imagine facing an emergency at home — how quickly can you pack a wound or apply a tourniquet when seconds matter most?
There are countless scenarios where having the right trauma kit, with the right gear and knowledge, makes all the difference.
So, is there a kit that solves all these issues?
One that’s compact, always with you, fully equipped for emergencies, and ensures you’re ready to act when it matters most?
I believe there is now…
Because I made it for you.

You deserve a kit you can trust — and this is it.
The Gear You Need, Without the Fluff
When it comes to trauma kits, most companies prioritize one thing: inflating the item count.
They’ll pack their kits with q-tips, a dozen types of adhesive bandages, Tylenol, and other cheap fillers just to make the list look longer. It’s all about marketing — selling you more items that don’t actually help in a real emergency.
The result? A bulky, overpriced first aid kit disguised as a trauma kit.
The Yellowstone Trauma Kit was built differently. Every single item was carefully chosen to give you exactly what you need to handle life-threatening emergencies — and nothing you don’t.
By eliminating fluff and focusing on functionality, this kit is streamlined and portable, so it’s easy to take anywhere. Slip it into your backpack for a hike, stash it in your range bag, or keep it in your car for roadside emergencies. Wherever you go, it’s ready when you need it.
This isn’t about padding the numbers—it’s about saving lives.
Because when seconds count, you need a kit you can trust.
Instead of wasting space on unnecessary fillers, we’ve packed the Yellowstone Trauma Kit with the tools that matter most:

North American Rescue Patented CAT Tourniquet. The Combat Application Tourniquet (C-A-T) Generation 7 is a true one-handed tourniquet proven to be 100% effective by the U.S. Army’s Institute of Surgical Research. Tests proved that the CAT completely occluded blood flow of an extremity in the event of a traumatic wound with significant hemorrhage. The CAT tourniquet utilizes a durable windlass system with a patented free-moving internal band providing true circumferential pressure to the extremity. Once adequately tightened, bleeding will cease and the windlass is locked into place. A hook and loop windlass retention strap is then applied, securing the windlass to maintain pressure during casualty evacuation. The C-A-T’s unique dual securing system avoids the use of screws and clips which can become difficult to operate under survival stress or where fine motor skills are compromised.
This battlefield-proven hemostatic gauze is ideal for wound packing and stopping the bleed. It is z-folded in sterile packaging and vacuum sealed to reduce footprint and fit in any IFAK. This is an impregnated gauze, not a powder or granule. It is fully safe and effective and has a shelf life of over 5 years.
The HyFin Vent Twin Pack which gives responders two vented chest seals in a compact packaging for the treatment of penetrating injuries to the chest. Designed with 3-vented channels that allow air to escape the chest cavity during exhalation but prevents air from entering through the injury site during inhalation. Each HyFin Vent Compact Chest Seal is 4.75” x 4.75” and made with advanced adhesive to provide a superior adhesion in the most adverse conditions, including sweaty or hairy casualties. Contained in a rugged, easy-to-open foil pouch, the perforated packaging allows users to open only one dressing at a time as needed. Its small packaging is ideal for low profile kits as you do not have to fold it to get it to fit in your kit, go-bag, cargo pocket or body armor.
The Compact Trauma Bandage from TacMed Solutions is a simple, effective pressure dressing designed to treat non-life-threatening hemorrhaging. It utilizes an elastic wrap material that can be used to generate pressure and a sterile wound pad that can be placed directly over the injury to aid in the control of bleeding. The bandage is flat-folded and vacuum-sealed to create a low profile so it can be easily stored.

The Training You Need to Save Lives
Owning the right gear is essential, but without knowing how to use it, even the best trauma kit won’t help in a real emergency. That’s why the Yellowstone Trauma Kit includes free lifetime access to our comprehensive Emergency Trauma Response (ETR) Training.
This entire course was designed with one goal in mind: to teach everyday citizens the essential Boy Scout level skills needed to save a life in an emergency trauma situation.
But this isn’t your average, boring Boy Scout first aid presentation.

Brian served as a combat medic alongside Marines in Afghanistan, gaining first-hand experience in high-pressure trauma care. His journey began as an ER Technician during his first duty station, and he has since earned EMT qualifications as both a civilian and active-duty Navy Corpsman. Unmatched Value at a Price That Makes Sense
When it comes to trauma kits, you often get what you pay for. Unfortunately, that usually means you’re paying too much for too little.
Many kits are filled with cheap components, unnecessary fluff, or gear you can’t trust in a real emergency. Worse, premium trauma kits with comparable quality to the Yellowstone Trauma Kit often cost $200 or more — and they don’t include the training you’ll need to use them effectively.
We believe everyone deserves access to the highest-quality gear without breaking the bank.
That’s why the Yellowstone Trauma Kit was designed to deliver unmatched value at a price that ensures you’re prepared without compromise.
Comparable kits with less reliability and no training can easily cost $200 or more. But with the Yellowstone Trauma Kit, you’ll get everything for just $135.99 — a price that reflects both the quality of the gear and the invaluable training that comes with it.
Because when it comes to saving lives, there’s no room for compromise.
Find a comparable kit with the same quality components for sale anywhere else, and we’ll match that price. Of course, you’ll need to send us receipts, and it doesn’t apply to authorized resellers. But here’s the thing: I’m so confident you won’t find a better deal on a kit of this quality—one that includes TCCC recommended gear and lifetime training — that I’m willing to put our reputation and inventory on the line to prove it.
What Are Others Saying About Our Yellowstone Kit?
December 30
A great kit.
Our department added training with the CAT on the qualification range last year.
We self-apply to both arm and leg during live-fire qualification.
March 6
Great kit to have in the car if something ever happens.
Very happy with the quality of the kit.
Would recommend to anyone.
May 26
This is a great item for everyone to have.
I bought one for the office and one for personal use. Everything came as mentioned. the cat tourniquet is made of strong material, The swat-T, Compression bandage, quick clot and chest seals are all the brand they advertise. The scissors are sturdy and tough.
I tried building a similar kit but I couldn’t do it for less money than they are asking.
I wish I could say more about the products themselves, but I hopefully will never have to use them ever in my life.
I highly recommend this product.
June 17
Kit looks good, hopefully I won’t have to use it.
Like the training videos to give confidence if have to use.
Will get a couple more.
August 14
Great trauma kit.
We are very pleased with quality and contents. We feel much more prepared to help when we can.

December 26
I bought two as gifts as it’s a good way to get others to think about safety.
John at ASP’s referral helped.
They’re complete and practical enough for almost anything.
March 1
This kit is really high quality and thoroughly planned out.
I like that you have options on which tourniquet that goes into the kit.
It seams to be a great value at its price point.
March 4
It’s amazing how much stuff you can fit in such a small package and still have things that are worthwhile and useful.
I got one of the smaller kits some time back, but I wanted this one for “just in case”.
I hope I never need it, but I’d rather be prepared if I ever do.
April 2
I purchase two (2) of The Yellowstone Trauma Kits.
One for my BOB (Bug Out Bag) and the other one in my EDC (Every Day Carry) Bag.
I have a hard time believing so many people carry guns and knives and NO Trauma kit what so ever.
What else can I say…
If you carry any type of weapon you should have one on you and know how to use it…
October 15
Nice Kit.
Happy with it as it has everything I think I will need to respond in an emergency.
I did add a couple extra pairs of gloves add some 4×4 gauze pads,
January 18
This is a great compact kit. It has the necessary items to address Trauma.
It is worth the money.
July 5
Awesome kit & bag!
Going to go in the vehicle I added an Israeli type bandage, twine, compass & compact silver blanket to it, benzoin tincture & antiseptic cleaner packs.
On a hiking trip it’s going w me 4 sure! Thx for an awesome first aid kit!
April 4
What a great med kit.
I added a trauma pouch and some bandaids. Carry it with me wherever I go.
Well made kit, everything you need. Fits in my knapsack, well worth the money and wait to receive it.
February 25
Great, solid kit!
I bought three of these, along with extra CATs and 3 Israeli style bandages. Two will go in each of my wife’s and I’s cars and one for home/range bag.
Next, we are going to take some Stop the Bleed classes and hopefully progress from there as life allows. My brother in law turned me on to them as well as a few podcasts. Well worth it!
March 27
Seems like a very good kit.
I had concerns about the trauma shears, they look pretty flimsy but I used them to cut up an old undershirt (double layered) .
They blew right through it.
I also got the CAT tourniquet.
I’m confident that I’m prepared for most trauma emergencies. That’s a good feeling.
June 17
Great premade kit.
Everything i expected. Great products included and arrived really quick. Thanks guys and gals.
June 17
I watch Active Self Protection on YouTube.
John reviewed this kit and said it is a really good kit. Based on his word I purchased.
I’m glad I decided to purchase this kit!
August 21
This is a very compact trauma kit.
This is a trauma kit, not a first aid kit with bandaids, ointments and the like.
I ordered two and am pleased with the quality. Thanks you!
September 7
Great trauma kit.
This is our second kit. We carry this trauma kit and a first aid kit in our car and in house. We also carry one in our range bag.
We like having the cat tourniquet and the swat-t tourniquet.
This compact kit is the perfect size to put both first aid and trauma kits in our medical bag.
Great videos and YouTube !!
March 4
Very functional, common sense, effective and compact.
Just what we need – Thanks for nailing it!
April 1
I did the free first aid course and then bought one of these kits.
After seeing the quality, and completeness of the kits, I ended up buying one for each of the cars.
Then I got my partner to do the class, and she wanted one.
I think I’ve gotten about four of these so far, and another one for the house.
May 5
As described! Good stuff…
September 23
An article at my favorite firearms website (Pew Pew Tactical) recommends people keep first aid kits in their range bags, and this was one of the brands/models that they suggested.
I chose it for both its contents and size (fits nicely in an exterior pocket of my large Midway range bag).
Also, MMM has some extremely useful videos on how to use the tourniquet, chest seal, etc., which “sealed the deal” for me.
January 13
Great kit! I like the portability (size) of this kit!
Don’t let its size fool you though—it has quality contents for serious emergency situations.
Contents are well-packed and accessible. Thank you!
March 1
This is the second Yellowstone trauma kit I’ve purchased since it provides a excellent choice of materials/tools to respond to emergencies and to further add supplies to increase usefulness in multi causalities.
I also like the ability to make a choice of which tourniquet one prefers.
January 16
Has what we need on our electricians vans to stop or slow the serious bleeding until emergency responders arrive.
The red bag stands out like it should.
It’s the REAL first aid in my opinion when compared to what they provide in standard first aid kits.
