Great course. I have always been concerned when going to the range. I have looked for trauma/gunshot training but wasn’t able to find any. This course is literally a life saver. I am looking forward to the next course. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Never got it. Tried and tried what Jason told me to do, but still don’t have it. You got my 2.00 and I received nothing. Won’t happen again. I’m done.

Jack sorry to hear about your experience. We are committed to making sure people get what they pay for. Sometimes technology glitches and we have to work through it on our end. I’m sorry that back and forth took longer than or was more than you were willing to endure. I’ve refunded your $2.

Update: Jacob was very quick to reply, and provided a link for me to get to my course. It worked ! Thank you Jacob !

Great course. I spend a lot of time on the range both professionally and recreationally and this is some of the best training I’ve seen. Thank you for putting this out.

  6. James Shaw (verified owner)

Very informative. Good breakdown of subject matter. Nice bite-sized pieces. I am a big proponent of folks having trauma training if they’re going to be at a range. Can’t rely on the RSO/instructor being the one with training…they may be the one needing the care! Thanx for making this available.

I’ve been looking for a course to cover trauma in mass killer events for our church safety team and this will fit the bill. Thanks Brian M. Looking forward to more training at the Guardian Conference

I found the Emergency Trauma Response course to be better but for the price it’s still very much worth completing this course too. It’s very high level and a bit too broad at the beginning, but stay with it and it will get into more details as it progresses. The quizzes are short and easy so it’s more on you to make sure you’ve committed to internalizing the content.

As a former (retired) EMT/EMT Instructor and NRA Range Safety Officer, I found this course well worth the $2.00.
I would strongly recommend you also complete the Emergency Trauma Response Course to combine the knowledge of both skill sets in your ’emergency tool kit’.
The downside of any on-line training course is that you don’t have the opportunity to practice the physical skills associated with the course, BUT if you take a basic 1st Aid Course with CPR/AED certification, you get the rudimentary physical skills that you can use to apply what you learned in this course as well as the ETR Course.
Good course, great review, and THANK YOU for the opportunity to take it.

I got a lot out of the course, but I did kind of feel like there was way too much emphasis/time spent on the military background and introductory sections, and if I’m honest, a lot of the rest of the parts related to making the plan, determining who does what, sequence of events – all could have been substantially shortened up. Those sections, entertaining though they might have been, were pretty self-explanatory in terms of the actual “lessons”. Now, the actual medical parts, great stuff. And again, I’m appreciative to have had the opportunity to get the info. And as I mentioned in the previous class, some printables would be a nice bonus, even if it adds a bit to the cost. These classes are worth it; a lot of us CAN’T do hands on training, and something is better than nothing!

Appreciate going a bit deeper. Well done and executed. Keep up the good work!

  12. Patrick Cartwright Jr, NREMT

As an Emergency Medical Technician, Basic Life Support Instructor for many years I was sceptical that I would learn anything from the course. Boy was I wrong! This course is a great addition to any hands on medical training. I highly recommend it for anyone who shoots be that for sport, fun or competitive in nature

This course expanded my view of what needs to be considered range trauma plan. Now I must take steps to get the local range management to buy in.
